Here at The Sweeper Company, vacuums are part of the family. In the early 1930s Earl Geehring started working for the Hoover Company in North Canton, Ohio. He would go on to get his son, David, a job there in the early 50’s. David was eventually sent to South Bend as the Regional Manager where in 1958 he started his own business. After many decades and four generations, The Sweeper Co. is still going strong as Michiana’s leading vacuum sales and service center.

... read more I've bought two vacuums from The Sweeper Co, they rarely needed repairs, and when they did, service was excellent, prompt, were returned as good as new, and lasted for years. Unfortunately, I was not in the area when needing to purchase a new one and did not get it there; nevertheless, when I brought it in, they were very cordial and helpful - and gave a fair estimate on repairs. I won't make the same mistake again!!
