At The Sweeper Company, vacuums aren’t just appliances-they’re part of our family story. It all began in the early 1930s when Earl Geehring joined the Hoover Company in North Canton, Ohio. In the 1950’s, he helped his son David start his own journey there. David’s career eventually brought him to South Bend as a Regional Manager, and in 1958, he launched his own business.
Over four generations and many decades later, The Sweeper Company remains Michiana’s trusted name in vacuum sales and service. Rooted in tradition and driven by innovation, we’re proud to keep homes clean-and families connected-one vacuum at a time.
